Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a sushi chef in a fine dining setting
- Thorough knowledge of sushi preparation techniques and food safety standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and handle kitchen tools safely
- Willingness to undergo training for specific restaurant protocols and innovative sushi techniques
Job Qualifications
- Extensive experience in fine dining restaurants specializing in Thai or Japanese cuisine and sushi preparation
- Strong knowledge of food handling, safety regulations, and sanitation practices within the food industry

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Job Duties
- Prepare and assemble a variety of sushi dishes with precision, artistry, and attention to detail, ensuring consistency and excellence in every plate
- Develop and refine menu items, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative techniques to keep offerings fresh and exciting
- Maintain impeccable food safety standards by adhering to proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures at all times
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service flow, timely meal preparation, and seamless communication during busy hours
- Manage ingredient inventory efficiently, monitor freshness, and place orders as needed to prevent shortages while minimizing waste
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff on sushi techniques, knife skills, food presentation, and safety protocols
