Job Requirements

  • must be at least 18 years of age or older
  • availability to work flexible shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical kitchen tasks
  • strong commitment to food safety and hygiene
  • reliable and punctual
  • willing to learn and adapt in a fast-paced kitchen environment

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in food preparation or kitchen environment preferred
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to multitask and work well under pressure
  • strong teamwork and communication skills
  • enthusiasm for learning sushi preparation
  • ability to follow instructions and maintain cleanliness

Job Duties

  • prepare and provide fresh, tasty, and quality sushi and other food items according to Kura standards
  • maintain knowledge of food safety standards and ensure restaurant cleanliness
  • work efficiently as a team player and go above and beyond assigned duties
  • organize tasks effectively and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • learn and improve sushi preparation techniques
  • assist with kitchen prep work and inventory management
  • follow schedules and adapt to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
