Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years of age or older
- availability to work flexible shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical kitchen tasks
- strong commitment to food safety and hygiene
- reliable and punctual
- willing to learn and adapt in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in food preparation or kitchen environment preferred
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- strong teamwork and communication skills
- enthusiasm for learning sushi preparation
- ability to follow instructions and maintain cleanliness
Job Duties
- prepare and provide fresh, tasty, and quality sushi and other food items according to Kura standards
- maintain knowledge of food safety standards and ensure restaurant cleanliness
- work efficiently as a team player and go above and beyond assigned duties
- organize tasks effectively and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- learn and improve sushi preparation techniques
- assist with kitchen prep work and inventory management
- follow schedules and adapt to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
