The role of Culinary Leader at Wegmans in Westwood, MA, is a full-time position designed for individuals passionate about food and leadership. As a Culinary Leader, you will play a pivotal role in managing the kitchen team, leading prep and line cooks in developing their culinary skills and professional growth. The position demands culinary expertise, leadership ability, and an eye for detail to manage daily kitchen operations efficiently and contribute to the store's overall profitability. Candidates will work in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same, and will have access to a wide range of fresh and world-class ingredients to create exceptional food experiences. The pay rate ranges between $23 and $25.25 per hour, with the opportunity to earn a bonus of up to $2,500.

Key responsibilities include highlighting product quality and freshness through effective merchandising, following recipes with precise knife skills, and applying consistent cooking techniques. The role also involves engaging with customers by sharing knowledge about products and suggesting meal ideas, enhancing their shopping experience. As a leader, you will manage employee performance by providing training, delivering constructive feedback, and fostering development opportunities for your team members. Shifts cover mornings, afternoons, and evenings, including weekends, with some shifts starting as early as 5am. Candidates must be 18 years or older to apply.
