Job Requirements

  • Sushi experience
  • Wok/Asian line experience
  • Ability to work night shifts
  • Availability to work weekends including Sundays
  • Ability to follow food safety and sanitation protocols
  • Ability to maintain professional language and attitude
  • Consistent attendance

Job Qualifications

  • Sushi experience including fish handling, rice, rolls/nigiri
  • Wok/Asian line experience involving high heat, speed, timing
  • Ability to work night shifts including weekends
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to food safety and sanitation
  • Ability to maintain a calm and professional kitchen environment

Job Duties

  • Execute service on sushi station and/or wok station based on your strengths
  • Prep and portion ingredients, label/date, maintain pars, and stock stations
  • Keep station organized, clean, and service-ready (clean-as-you-go)
  • Follow sanitation, food safety, and allergen procedures consistently
  • Support deliveries, FIFO rotation, and inventory organization
  • Dishwashing and cleaning every shift: keep dish area organized, wash/put away, and complete end-of-night cleaning (floors, trash, stations, equipment wipe-down)
