Inventory management and restocking duties are also part of the role, demanding organizational skills and attentiveness to detail. Additionally, the Sushi Chef supports training and mentoring new team members, contributing to overall team morale and ensuring that every staff member adheres to the restaurant's core values: Teamwork, Respect, Accountability, Passion, Honesty, and Kindness (TRAPCHK). These guiding principles shape daily interactions and operations, making Trapper's Sushi a dynamic and enriching workplace.

Employment in this role is full-time and offers competitive compensation ranging from $18.50 to $22.75 per hour, depending on experience, including tips. Employees benefit from a comprehensive package including medical insurance with 80 percent employer contribution after 60 days for qualifying hours, 401(k) with company matching after one year, voluntary dental and vision plans, employee assistance programs, and paid sick leave according to Washington state and local laws. Additional perks include employee meal discounts and opportunities for career advancement within a growing restaurant group, all supported by a culture that values teamwork and employee well-being.
