Job Requirements
- high school graduate or equivalency
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in food service as a supervisor
- experience in health care food service facility preferred
- ServeSafe certification
- ability to perform medium work exerting 20 - 50 pounds of force occasionally
- physical ability to walk or stand to a significant degree
- knowledge of OSHA Blood Borne Pathogens Standards, CFR 1910.1030
- familiarity with hospital exposure control plans and safety data sheets
- ability to handle exposure to blood borne diseases safely
Job Qualifications
- high school graduate or equivalency
- trade, vocational school training or bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in food service as a supervisor
- experience in health care food service facility preferred
- ServeSafe certification
Job Duties
- plan for, prepare and serve regular and special diets to patients, staff and guests
- assist Dietary Manager with planning and maintaining quality procedures
- manage staff work schedules
- design menus
- complete inventory
- order food and supplies
- ensure proper cleaning and sanitization
- meet all approved standards set forth by Brynn Marr Hospital
