Job Description
Aramark is a global leader in food services, facilities management, and uniform services, operating in 15 countries and serving millions of guests daily. With a mission rooted in service and united by purpose, Aramark strives to deliver excellent service to its partners, communities, and the planet. The company is firmly committed to equal employment opportunity and fostering an inclusive environment where every employee can participate fully without discrimination based on race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, gender identity, disability, or other protected characteristics. Aramark values talent development, passion, and professional growth, offering employees the chance to pursue new challenges and grow within a supportive and dynamic workplace.
The Supplemental Staffing Pool Manager position at Aramark is a hybrid role designed to oversee recruitment, placement, and management of hourly team members within their designated region, particularly serving hospital settings. This role masterfully blends human resources, sales, and client service, ensuring the right candidates are matched with appropriate positions quickly and efficiently to meet short-term staffing demands. It offers a tremendous opportunity to leverage full-cycle hourly recruiting experience combined with a passion for job matching, community building, and employee engagement.
The ideal candidate will be instrumental in managing Aramark's hourly Food Service Workers, Cooks, Baristas, and Environmental Services Workers, facilitating their work in hospital locations where they contribute to patient care and enhance the hospital environment by delivering hospitality with compassion and professionalism. This position involves a balance of office and remote work, with some travel required to various sites within the region.
The Supplemental Staffing Pool Manager will identify staffing needs by collaborating with hiring managers and clients, then source and screen candidates through multiple channels like job boards, social media, referrals, and job fairs to maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates. The manager will also conduct interviews and assessments, perform reference checks, and ultimately select candidates who best fit the demands of the positions and client expectations.
Relationship management is a key aspect, as the role requires building and maintaining strong connections with site operations leaders, team members, community organizations, candidates, and internal stakeholders. The manager will also lead scheduling efforts using AI-enabled software, support team members in their assignments, and oversee biweekly payroll operations. Deploying staffing resources efficiently across various hospital sites is vital to ensuring seamless service delivery.
A core focus of this role is to provide an engaging, positive experience for both candidates and existing supplemental staff members, fostering a supportive work environment that encourages employee retention and professional growth. The position is ideal for someone passionate about connecting individuals to meaningful employment opportunities while supporting healthcare teams who make a difference every day.
Aramark offers an inspiring work culture with a commitment to social responsibility, diversity, and inclusion. Employees enjoy comprehensive benefits and the chance to develop their careers in a purpose-driven organization. This role offers a competitive salary and the flexibility of a hybrid working model.
