The role of Fleet Support Lead within Tesla's Robotaxi Fleet Team is a high-intensity, action-oriented leadership position that requires adaptability and excellence in a dynamic and fast-paced setting. This role involves leading a dedicated team of Robotaxi Fleet Support Specialists to ensure that Tesla's fleet of autonomous vehicles remains in optimal condition, with proper maintenance and charging daily. The Fleet Support Lead will be responsible for overseeing vehicle cleanliness, maintenance, state of charge, and all fleet processes to ensure efficient and effective operations. This position calls for a proactive leader who can coach and train team members, foster a positive and high-performing team culture, and swiftly resolve performance challenges.

The successful candidate will engage in conducting regular audits to verify compliance with fleet management protocols, approve administrative items like timecards and expense reports, and expertly navigate Tesla's proprietary software systems for real-time data analytics. Additionally, the role may require travel to domestic or international locations, reflecting the global reach of Tesla's Robotaxi program. Candidates should be prepared to work flexible schedules, including on-call duties during off shifts for escalations. Compensation for this role ranges from $97,058 to $145,587 annually, supplemented with cash and stock awards as well as comprehensive benefits starting from the first day of hire.

  • be an expert with Tesla's proprietary software systems to access real-time data and analytics to identify and resolve issues to ensure seamless fleet operations
  • proactively monitor and respond to all communication platforms, maintaining real-time connectivity to drive cross-functional collaboration
