Job Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Four years of directly related work experience may substitute for the associate’s degree
  • Valid Food Manager Certification or ServSafe Certification
  • Minimum of one year of supervisory or group lead experience in food and nutrition
  • Demonstrated technical competence in food service, food handling, or nutrition

Job Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree
  • Four years of directly related work experience may substitute for the associate’s degree
  • Technical competence in food service, food handling, or nutrition
  • Valid Food Manager Certification from a Florida Department of Health-approved provider or ServSafe Certification from the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation
  • Minimum of one year of supervisory or group lead experience in Food and Nutrition

Job Duties

  • Monitor and manage workflow within the food and nutrition department
  • Supervise and support team members to ensure timely and accurate food service
  • Maintain high standards of food safety, sanitation, and quality
  • Ensure compliance with dietary guidelines, hospital policies, and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to support patient care and satisfaction
