We are currently seeking a Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our fantastic team and help ensure the highest level of service in our food and beverage operations. The position is primarily responsible for the planning and management of the food and beverage operations within the front of the house, ensuring smooth daily operations and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
The Food and Beverage Supervisor will play a pivotal role in overseeing guest interactions to guarantee they are handled positively, accurately, and efficiently at all times. This includes assisting management in enforcing departmental policies and procedures, training team members on food quality, sanitation, safety, and guest service standards, and stepping in to manage the department in the absence of the Food and Beverage Manager. The supervisor will also actively participate in daily operations to assist with workloads and respond promptly to guest inquiries concerning food and beverage, retail, and resort services.
Additionally, the Food and Beverage Supervisor must have extensive knowledge of menu items, beverage brands, and recipes—including cocktails, beers, wines, and other beverages—while ensuring compliance with all state regulations regarding alcohol service. Supervisory responsibilities include managing cash collections, resolving issues related to guest concerns, inventory, staffing, supplies, and special requests. Effective communication and collaboration with other departments are crucial to maintaining operational efficiency and meeting high service standards.
Administrative duties are also a significant component of this role, encompassing budget control, scheduling, purchasing, and preparing performance appraisals. The supervisor ensures that shift checklists and closing procedures are completed accurately and secures any company funds collected during shifts. Regular attendance and adherence to company standards are essential for the successful performance of this position.

Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- 3-5 years of related experience required
- Experience with Kitchen operations with cooking, sanitation, inspections, and ordering
Job Qualifications

- Experience with recipes, food costing, plating and menu design
- 5-7 years of related experience preferred
- 2+ years of management or supervisor experience preferred
- TIP's or similar certification preferred
- Food Handler Certification preferred
Job Duties
- Ensures all guest interactions are handled in a positive, accurate, and efficient manner at all times
- Assists management with ensuring that all departmental activities are performed within the guidelines of appropriate policies and procedures
- Train all Team Members in the area of food quality, sanitation, safety, departmental/resort policies and procedures and guest/owner service standards
- Responsible for the operation of the department in the absence of the F&B Manager
- Participates in all F&B operations daily to assist with work load and respond to guest/owner inquiries regarding F&B, retail and resort services
- Knowledge and service of menu items and beverage brands as well as cocktail recipes, varieties of beer and wines, soda, water, sugars and other prepared beverages
- Performs in accordance with all state regulations with regards to alcohol service and consumption
- Supervises and accounts for the accurate collection of monies received at the various F&B outlets
- Resolves resolution of problems arising from guest/owner concerns, inventory, supply issues, staffing issues, and other unusual request and inquiries
- Ensures the provision of special services to owners/guests as directed
- Maintains effective communication and coordination of F&B activities with other departments to ensure all standards are met in the areas of efficiency
- Assists management in performing administrative duties which may include budget control, scheduling, purchasing supplies, preparation of performance appraisals, etc.
- Ensures at the end of each shift that all F&B associates have completed daily checklists and shift closing are accurate
- Witness any drop of company funds from daily transactions
- Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established and revised by HGVC from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position
