They have established themselves as a leading name in the Southeast US, specializing in a diverse portfolio that includes healthcare facilities, higher education institutions, and high-end restaurants. Their reputation is built on delivering exceptional quality with a strong emphasis on interior projects, while also expanding their pipeline of ground-up construction projects. This dynamic growth phase presents excellent long-term career opportunities for construction professionals looking to advance within a stable and respected organization.
This permanent role is based in Atlanta and offers a competitive annual salary range of USD 100,000 to USD 120,000, reflecting the level of responsibility and expertise required. The company prides itself on fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment, valuing diversity and encouraging applications from all qualified candidates. As a site manager, the successful applicant will play a critical leadership role, guiding high-value projects from inception through to successful completion, ensuring adherence to owner specifications, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
The role involves close collaboration with architects, engineers, and municipalities to guarantee that project plans are precisely designed and value-engineered to optimize cost and functionality. Candidates must be adept at managing multiple project schedules, preparing detailed short-term timelines, and ensuring all tasks are completed on or ahead of time. Leadership and technical direction for ground-up projects are essential components of this position, alongside responsibility for bid management, subcontract development, estimating, and take-offs.
A key part of the job includes managing the project buyout process within designated timeframes, reviewing subcontractor submissions to ensure compliance with contract documents, and directing requests for information (RFIs) and submittals. The site manager will also develop and maintain comprehensive site logistics plans and oversee special inspection schedules. Monitoring daily reports and safety inspections submitted by onsite superintendents forms a crucial part of quality control and project safety procedures.
Leading and participating in project meetings is another critical facet of the role, encompassing pre-construction planning, scope of work discussions, scheduling, and safety protocol reviews. Building and nurturing relationships with key vendors such as subcontractors, suppliers, and engineers is fundamental to the company’s collaborative approach to construction management.
The ideal candidate will hold a technical degree in construction management or a related field and possess at least five years of relevant industry experience, including ground-up construction projects. Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary to effectively coordinate between diverse project stakeholders. A stable work record and solid knowledge of construction management principles are also required for success in this demanding but rewarding role.
In addition to competitive pay, the company offers a comprehensive benefits package including 15-20 days of paid time off, 9-12 company holidays, 100% medical benefits, a 401(k) plan with company match, as well as allowances and tools to support your work such as a car allowance or company vehicle, cell phone, and laptop. Milestone bonus incentives and end-of-year bonuses provide further financial rewards, alongside life insurance and generous maternity and paternity leave provisions.
Joining this firm means becoming part of a respected leader in the Atlanta construction market, working on exciting, complex projects, and growing your career in a supportive environment with excellent long-term prospects. This opportunity is ideal for ambitious construction professionals eager to take the next step in their careers with a company committed to quality, safety, and employee development.
