The role of Superintendent on commercial construction projects involves leading and managing all field operations from the project start through to closeout. This position requires overseeing the development and maintenance of project schedules to ensure that milestones are achieved on time, coordinating and supervising subcontractors, vendors, and trade partners, and driving quality control efforts with a strong focus on high-end interior finishes. The Superintendent is responsible for maintaining a safe and productive job site, enforcing company safety standards, conducting regular progress meetings, communicating updates to stakeholders, identifying and resolving field issues proactively to sustain project momentum, and managing punch list activities to ensure successful project turnover. Candidates must bring a minimum of five years’ experience in construction supervision, preferably with exposure to Class A finishes, hospitality, Class A office, corporate interiors, mixed-use, or other high-end commercial sectors. The successful applicant will have excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with a deep understanding of construction means and methods, scheduling, and trade coordination.
