Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum five years culinary experience
  • minimum two years sous chef experience
  • strong leadership skills
  • effective team management
  • proficiency in culinary budgeting and scheduling
  • ability to work in fast-paced environment
  • food safety certification preferred

Job Qualifications

  • five years of progressive culinary experience preferred

Job Duties

  • oversee day-to-day kitchen operations including production and prep
  • manage private parties and special events culinary needs
  • supervise stewarding, purchasing and receiving
  • ensure culinary staff adhere to high menu standards
  • run kitchen effectively and professionally in absence of executive chef
  • manage culinary budget, labor, scheduling and overtime
  • foster cohesive team environment under pressure
