Job Description

Rocket Farm Restaurants is a renowned hospitality group that thrives on a core philosophy: "We serve the person who is serving the guest." This philosophy forms the backbone of their culture, which emphasizes dignity, respect, and care among team members, particularly in the kitchen. The company believes that the way kitchen staff treat and support each other should mirror how guests are treated and served in the dining room. This ethos fosters a positive, respectful, and cooperative work environment, which ultimately reflects on the quality of service guests receive. Rocket Farm Restaurants operates several dining establishments across multiple cities including Atlanta, Charlotte, Nashville, Houston, Raleigh, and Winter Park, making it a significant player in the restaurant industry known for fostering unique and heartfelt dining experiences.

One of the vibrant establishments within the Rocket Farm portfolio is Superica Dunwoody, a restaurant celebrated for its authentic Tex-Mex cuisine served in an atmosphere reminiscent of the Old West. It is famously described as "where sunshine spends the winter," offering a warm and inviting locale to enjoy brunch, lunch, or dinner alongside refreshing margaritas. Superica Dunwoody is a go-to destination for families and friends who appreciate not just food but a cultural lifestyle symbolized by Tex-Mex traditions.

The Executive Chef role at Superica Dunwoody is a leadership position that demands culinary expertise and management skills. The Executive Chef is responsible for leading the entire culinary team, overseeing the daily operations that range from food preparation and production to special events, purchasing, and inventory management. This role places a strong emphasis on efficiency, productivity, and the delivery of high-quality dishes that meet budgetary and guest satisfaction goals. The Executive Chef ensures that all culinary staff are well-trained on recipes and food presentation standards, continually fostering an educational and growth-oriented environment.

Candidates for this position ideally have ten years of progressive culinary experience, including five years in senior management roles. The role requires not only culinary excellence but also strategic leadership to drive team development and operational success. The Executive Chef is a pivotal figure in maintaining food quality, supervising line cooks, contributing to menu innovation, and sustaining cost controls.

This position offers a competitive salary between $85,000 and $120,000 per year, depending on experience, with an additional generous quarterly bonus program. Rocket Farm Restaurants provides full medical benefits eligibility after 30 days of employment, including major medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. Beyond compensation, the company is committed to nurturing a supportive and ethical workplace culture with performance-based raises and promotions. Employees also enjoy paid time off, parental leave options, long-term retention bonuses, and generous time off during major holidays. Further enriching the employee experience, Rocket Farm Restaurants offers access to Rocket Farm University for leadership and career development, employee-led mentorship programs, and various advisory and safety committees.

Joining Rocket Farm Restaurants as an Executive Chef means becoming part of a dynamic, innovative, and dedicated team.
