The Guest Service Associate position at Towne Park is a pivotal role responsible for enhancing the guest experience through efficient and friendly service. This role primarily involves managing guest vehicles with care and professionalism, including parking and retrieval in a safe and timely manner. The Guest Service Associate also assists guests with their luggage during arrival and departure, providing bell services and luggage storage as needed. Throughout every interaction, associates maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor, greeting guests warmly and using their last names to personalize the experience. This role is highly interactive, requiring associates to assist guests with inquiries, directions, reservations, and provide information about the local area, hotel amenities, and events. An important aspect of the role is to explain parking rates and vehicle retrieval procedures clearly and handle financial transactions related to parking services accurately.

This seasonal summer position offers an hourly wage ranging from $10 to $11, with additional potential earnings from tips estimated between $13 and $15 per hour, reflecting Towne Park's commitment to fair and competitive compensation. The work schedule is flexible and dependent on resort business volumes, with a particular need for weekend availability. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license for state of work or commutable distance
  • Minimum of one month related experience or training
  • Ability to operate a vehicle safely
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with guests
  • Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and perform outdoor work
  • Willingness to work weekends and variable shifts
  • Ability to understand and follow operational procedures
  • Flexibility to assist with luggage and shuttle services when required

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Valid driver’s license for the state of work or a commutable distance
  • One month related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of customer and personal service principles
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend standard English
  • Strong communication skills on one-on-one and small group settings
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Understanding of 24-hour and military time systems
  • Ability to understand applicable rates and procedures
  • Able to operate manual transmission vehicles and perform parallel parking is highly desirable

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers, and clients
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names
  • Park and retrieve vehicles safely while driving cautiously
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage handling
  • Provide guests with information about facilities, amenities, and local attractions
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures clearly
  • Collect parking fees and complete all related ticket and vehicle documentation
