As a family-owned business, Delaware North prides itself on fostering a people-first culture, offering a wide range of opportunities across diverse industries such as sports, gaming, hotels, restaurants, and national parks. The company's commitment to excellence and employee growth is reflected in its comprehensive benefits and their promise to help individuals achieve their career aspirations. At Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee, Delaware North serves as the long-standing concessions and retail partner, managing all concession outlets and several exclusive clubs within the venue, which is also home to the NHL's Nashville Predators. The company’s presence extends to high-profile arenas and entertainment spaces, where they consistently deliver exceptional guest experiences.
The role of Suites Kitchen Expo Supervisor at Bridgestone Arena is a part-time position that offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments. With a competitive pay rate of $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, this role places you at the heart of game-day action and behind-the-scenes operations. The Supervisor is entrusted with overseeing all kitchen food service activities within the suites, ensuring that food preparation, labeling, and storage processes adhere to high standards to maintain quality and safety. This position requires effective communication and delegation skills, as the Supervisor will liaise with front-of-house and culinary teams to streamline food execution during events, ensuring seamless service and an exemplary guest experience.
Alongside operational oversight, the Suites Kitchen Expo Supervisor plays an important role in enforcing health and safety regulations throughout the kitchen, suite, and storage areas. It is essential for the Supervisor to manage timely food push outs, support team members with categorizing and organizing food carts, and monitor production notes closely to meet event demands accurately. While a college degree is not required for this role, candidates should have the ability to problem-solve, work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays, and be comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for the duration of their shifts.
Beyond job duties, Delaware North values its employees' well-being and offers an extensive benefits package. Employees can look forward to weekly pay, training opportunities for professional growth, employee discounts, and flexible work schedules to accommodate personal needs. Eligible team members may also access health, dental, and vision insurance coverage, 401(k) retirement plans with company contributions, paid vacation and holiday leave, parental bonding leave, an employee assistance program, and support for tuition and professional certification expenses.
In summary, joining Delaware North as a part-time Suites Kitchen Expo Supervisor means becoming part of a globally respected company rooted in hospitality excellence. You will contribute to a seamless, high-quality food service experience at one of Nashville’s premier entertainment venues while developing your skills and career in a supportive, inclusive environment that celebrates diversity and equal opportunity.
