The stadium, home to the NFL's Jacksonville Jaguars with a seating capacity of 67,164, is a vibrant venue known for its unique and imaginative food and beverage offerings, including specialty items celebrating the team’s identity. Delaware North is a family-owned company with a legacy spanning over 100 years and a global presence across multiple industries such as sports, gaming, hotels, and national parks. The company emphasizes creating excellent experiences for guests while fostering growth and professional development for its team members.

The seasonal Suites Food Runner position is an exciting opportunity for individuals interested in hospitality and sports venue service. This role is seasonal, aligned with the football season running from August through January. The primary responsibility of a Food Runner is to expedite food delivery from the kitchen to guests efficiently and courteously. The role demands close collaboration with culinary and front-of-house teams to ensure the timely arrival and quality presentation of food items. Food Runners also engage in pre-shift briefings to stay informed about critical service details and develop comprehensive knowledge of menu items including ingredients and preparation methods.

This role offers those new to the service industry or looking to advance their skills a chance to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and learn from experienced mentors in one of the country’s leading hospitality companies. Besides regular food running duties, there may be opportunities to provide table-side service by taking orders and explaining menu offerings, enhancing guest interaction and satisfaction. The position requires reliability, physical stamina, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in an energetic setting. Delaware North supports its team members with weekly pay, flexible scheduling, employee discounts, and a suite of benefits for eligible employees including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid vacation and holidays, parental leave, employee assistance programs, and tuition reimbursement.

Delaware North is committed to diversity and inclusion, offering equal employment opportunities regardless of race, color, religion, gender, and other protected statuses. By joining the company, candidates become part of a global family that values hard work, respect, and growth. The Suites Food Runner role at EverBank Stadium is perfect for individuals who thrive in a team setting, enjoy working in sports and event venues, and seek to develop a career in hospitality. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, with preference given to those with experience or training as a Runner or Busser in similar, high-volume dining environments. This is an ideal part-time opportunity with a pay rate of $15.00 per hour, offering job seekers flexibility and a chance to be part of memorable sports and entertainment experiences.
