The seasonal Cook position at EverBank Stadium is a vital role within Delaware North's culinary team. Cooks are responsible for performing essential food preparation duties that meet high standards of quality, safety, and presentation. This role involves closely collaborating with serving team members to ensure guest orders are executed efficiently and correctly. The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $17.00 and features flexible work schedules designed to accommodate various lifestyle needs. As a Cook, individuals will maintain clean and organized workstations, comply with health and safety regulations, and manage inventory and waste according to company guidelines. The job requires physical stamina, including the ability to lift 50 pounds, stand and walk during shifts in potentially noisy environments, and perform manual kitchen tasks such as chopping, mixing, and operating equipment. Job Requirements

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more, reach up to seven feet, bend, and squat
  • standing and walking for the entire length of shift in moderate to high noise levels
  • manual ability to chop, mix, blend, whip a variety of foods and liquids and operate kitchen equipment

Job Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of previous experience in a back-of-the-house food service position
  • ability to read and comprehend prep sheets and recipes
  • basic math skills, with the ability to calculate and follow recipe measurements
  • no high school diploma or GED required

Job Duties

  • Prepare food to comply with all portion sizes, quality standards, department rules, policies, and procedures, ensuring proper food temperatures are maintained, food is stored correctly, the freshness and quality of all menu items, and packages all products to proper specifications
  • keep workstation, coolers, and equipment clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked
  • use waste control guidelines and record all waste on the spoilage sheet
  • perform opening, closing, and side work duties and end-of-day inventory
  • perform other duties as assigned
