The role of Enthusiastic Substitute Porter within ATG Entertainment represents a vital position on the Theatre Operations team, responsible for maintaining the pristine condition of five historic Broadway theaters: the St. James, the Al Hirschfeld, the August Wilson, the Eugene O'Neill, and the Walter Kerr. Although direct theatrical performance experience is not required, this role requires a dynamic individual who thrives in a high-energy environment with a keen attention to detail. Substitute Porters help ensure that all public and backstage areas are impeccably clean and welcoming, including lobbies, restrooms, dressing rooms, and the sidewalks in front of the theaters. This position involves a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, removing trash, and polishing brass fixtures to uphold the aesthetic and safety standards of these celebrated venues.
