This role is for a part of the engineering and facilities team at Marriott, located at 333 Adams St, Brooklyn, New York. The position is full-time and non-management, with an hourly pay range of $31.88 to $42.51. The primary responsibility of this position is to provide maintenance services, particularly focusing on minor plumbing and general repairs, to ensure guest requests are promptly addressed and hotel facilities are kept in optimal condition. Responsibilities include repairing plumbing issues such as unclogging drains and toilets and fixing leaks, conducting minor repairs like adjusting toilet seats, changing light bulbs, patching holes in walls, and performing preventive maintenance on tools and equipment.

This maintenance role demands excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with guests and clients, ensuring their maintenance issues are resolved satisfactorily. The employee must strictly adhere to all safety protocols and company policies, reporting any maintenance problems or safety risks promptly. Maintaining a professional appearance and confidentiality is essential. Physical tasks are part of the job, including lifting objects up to 50 pounds, climbing stairs and ramps, and other reasonable duties assigned by supervisors. Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • respond and attend to repair requests from guests
