In this role, you will be positioned as the Design Studio Receptionist based in Cupertino, CA, working fully onsite within one of the world's most recognized technology companies. This is a 12-month contract position that offers a competitive pay rate of $28 to $30 per hour with a consistent Monday through Friday daytime schedule—no nights or weekends—providing a stable, balanced work routine. The role is integral to maintaining the front-of-house presence and daily operational rhythm of a vibrant, state-of-the-art creative studio. This studio environment is home to some of the most talented creative and entertainment professionals, and your role will be pivotal in ensuring a seamless, welcoming experience for all employees, executives, guests, and vendors.

As the Design Studio Receptionist, you will manage multiple responsibilities that blend hospitality, administrative support, and office coordination. You will oversee the upkeep and presentation of all shared spaces to maintain a polished and professional atmosphere. Greeting visitors with warmth while ensuring discretion is a key aspect of your daily interactions. You will also coordinate deliveries, manage kitchen and common area supplies, and assist in supporting studio events, including coordinating catering logistics. Collaboration with operations, facilities, and security teams is essential to fluid studio functioning. Your attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and professional demeanor will directly contribute to the studio’s reputation for excellence. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-4 years of relevant experience in reception or facilities operations
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to use macOS and productivity software
  • dependable and discreet
  • ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain excellent customer service
  • availability to work onsite Monday through Friday during normal business hours

Job Qualifications

  • 1-4 years of experience in reception or facilities operations
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • proficiency with macOS and common productivity tools
  • familiarity with collaboration platforms like Slack or project management tools is a plus
  • ability to maintain discretion and handle multiple tasks effectively
