Job Description
Contemporary Management Concepts, LLLP is a reputable property management company dedicated to providing exceptional residential experiences across its managed communities. As an Equal Opportunity Employer, the company prides itself on fostering a supportive and diverse workplace where all employees are valued regardless of race, religion, color, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability status, national origin, or veteran status. With a strong commitment to compliance with Fair Housing guidelines and company policies, Contemporary Management Concepts ensures a professional and welcoming environment for residents and prospects alike. The company leverages contemporary management concepts to deliver service excellence while maintaining efficient property operations.
The Part Time Leasing Consultant role at Contemporary Management Concepts is designed for individuals who are enthusiastic, customer-focused, and ready to contribute to the leasing process and resident relations within a professional office setting. This part-time position requires a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and an understanding of the importance of customer service within the multifamily housing industry. Leasing Consultants play a critical role in supporting the property team by assisting prospective residents through apartment tours, lease application processing, and timely follow-up on maintenance requests.
In this role, you will be responsible for handling multiple tasks, such as answering phone calls, greeting residents and prospects with a friendly demeanor, and ensuring guest cards are accurately completed for all prospects. You will conduct thorough tours of the premises to provide potential residents with an in-depth look at available apartment homes, helping to drive leasing success. Additional responsibilities include preparing lease applications and supporting documentation, processing deposits in compliance with company policies, and maintaining detailed records in move-in calendars.
Your role will also include administrative duties important to the smooth operation of the leasing office, such as managing email communications, accepting and distributing resident packages, and ensuring all communications and activities adhere to Fair Housing laws. The position requires physical activity, including standing, walking, using hands for handling documents and equipment, and occasionally walking staircases. Work schedules align with regular business hours, with the understanding that time off requests must be pre-approved in advance to maintain business continuity.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in customer relations and office operations, complemented by strong verbal and written communication abilities. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating composure under stress and meticulousness in your work. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable industry experience while contributing to a team-oriented culture committed to resident satisfaction and operational excellence.
