Job Requirements

  • Be a student enrolled at University of Florida with at least six credit hours
  • Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5
  • Eligible for federal work-study program
  • Able to work a minimum of 10 hours and up to 20 hours per week
  • Strong communication skills
  • Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and email
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized
  • Reliable and professional
  • Previous customer service or office experience preferred
  • Knowledge of campus resources preferred

Job Duties

  • Serve as first point of contact for the office and greet students, staff, and visitors
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to inquiries in a professional manner
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as answering phones, managing emails, and scheduling appointments
  • Maintain organized and tidy front desk area and office supplies
  • Support daily office operations by performing clerical duties as needed
  • Communicate effectively with office staff to coordinate activities and information
  • Uphold a professional demeanor and represent the Office of Student Life positively
