The Strategic Revenue Manager role at Aramark Destinations is a critical leadership position focused on maximizing revenue performance across a variety of lodging and experience-based assets. This data-driven and commercially astute leader is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive Total Revenue Management strategies that optimize overall revenue and profitability, going beyond standard room revenue to include all ancillary streams like tours, recreational activities, rentals, and campgrounds. Managing key performance indicators such as RevPAR (Revenue per Available Room) and ancillary capture rate, this role demands a sophisticated understanding of pricing, demand generation, and distribution strategies.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, proven experience in revenue management within hospitality or related sectors, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams. They will serve as a subject matter expert in the IDeaS G3 revenue management system and routinely analyze booking trends, segmentation performance, and local market dynamics to adjust strategies effectively. Regular collaboration with commercial teams, marketing, and property managers will be essential to align promotional efforts and channel management with overarching revenue goals. Additionally, this role will oversee the development of efficient processes within the Revenue Management team and support forecasting and budgeting initiatives.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, finance, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of hospitality revenue management experience
- Proficiency with IDeaS G3 revenue management system or ability to become certified within 90 days
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholder decisions
- Experience managing multiple revenue streams
- Advanced financial analysis and Excel skills
- Willingness to work full-time hours and attend regular strategy meetings
- Knowledge of local market and competitor analysis
- Ability to develop and maintain effective pricing and distribution strategies
Job Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in hospitality revenue management and analytics
- Ability to utilize both strategic planning and tactical execution to achieve revenue targets
- Strong IDeaS G3 experience, including ability to become certified within 90 days if not already
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, influence, and present effectively, including leading calls and meetings with key stakeholders
- Ability to develop and nurture strategic partnerships with other key stakeholders such as sales, marketing, and property-based operators
- Experience analyzing multiple revenue streams within hospitality, resorts, tourism, or experiential travel
- Possesses key problem-solving skills, able to quickly identify challenges and respond accordingly
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with advanced Excel proficiency
- Data visualization skills a plus
- Experience with key systems and technology including IDeaS G3, Opera Cloud, Springer Miller, iHotelier, SnyXis, Inntopia, Fare Harbor, Expedia and booking.com extranets, STR comp sets and reporting tools, Lighthouse, Demand360, Revenue Strategy 360, Microsoft Excel and Power BI
Job Duties
- Serve as the revenue champion for a key cluster of properties with accountability for performance metrics including RevPAR and ancillary capture rate
- Develop and implement revenue management strategies to maximize room revenue, occupancy, and ADR
- Drive pricing and promotional strategy for additional pre-sale revenue streams including tours, recreation, rentals, and campgrounds
- Continually analyze booking pace, pickup trends, and segmentation performance
- Serve as an in-house subject matter expert for the IDeaS G3 revenue management system
- Host bi-weekly revenue strategy meetings with commercial team and key operational stakeholders
- Develop and implement processes to maximize the efficiency of the Revenue Management team
- Work with marketing and property stakeholders to develop promotional strategies aimed at maximizing RevPAR and ancillary revenues
- Develop and maintain appropriate channel mix and segmentation strategies for each property in the portfolio
- Monitor local market dynamics and competitor pricing for assigned locations
- Assist with occupancy and room revenue forecasting as well as annual budgeting processes
