Job Description

Starbucks Coffee Company is a globally recognized leader in the coffeehouse industry, known for crafting the world’s finest coffee and fostering a warm, welcoming environment where every cup sparks connection. Founded in 1971, Starbucks has grown into an iconic brand dedicated to exceptional customer experiences and community engagement. The company prides itself on creating meaningful moments through coffee and connection, positioning itself not just as a place to grab a beverage, but as a cornerstone of community interaction. With thousands of stores across multiple countries, Starbucks continues to expand its footprint while maintaining its commitment to quality, inclusion, and sustainability. The company's culture is deeply rooted in values such as respect, dignity, and care for its partners and customers alike, ensuring that everyone who walks through their doors feels part of a larger family.

This role as a coffeehouse leader at Starbucks is much more than managing a retail space; it is about leading a passionate team to deliver memorable customer service experiences that resonate beyond just the coffee served. As a team leader, you are entrusted to create an environment where your team feels motivated, supported, and empowered to perform at their best. This position challenges you to combine your business acumen with interpersonal skills to promote a culture where every partner embodies the Starbucks mission of inspiring and nurturing the human spirit. Leadership here means coaching and mentoring team partners with professionalism and maturity while fostering an entrepreneurial mentality that drives sales and operational excellence.

The position invites candidates with a background in retail or customer service management or those with extensive military experience, recognizing diverse paths to leadership. The expectations are aligned with developing strong organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills along with the ability to manage and grow a team effectively. The role demands flexibility to work variable hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the dynamic nature of the coffee retail industry.

Starbucks emphasizes partner growth not only through on-the-job experiences but also through a robust benefits package. Partners and their families can access comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance options, disability coverage, and paid leave policies. The company also supports financial well-being through retirement plans, stock programs, and emergency savings incentives. Education is highly valued, with initiatives like 100% tuition coverage for first-time bachelor’s degrees offered through the Starbucks College Achievement Plan. Additionally, Starbucks is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring all qualified applicants are considered fairly regardless of background or circumstances. Overall, this role offers an exceptional opportunity to grow personally and professionally while making a significant impact within a beloved global brand.
