Job Description

Starbucks Coffee Company is a leading global coffeehouse chain known for crafting the world's finest coffee and creating meaningful moments for its customers. Founded in 1971 in Seattle, Washington, Starbucks has grown into a household name recognized for its commitment to quality, community, and sustainability. The company operates thousands of stores worldwide, offering a diverse menu of premium coffee beverages, teas, and fresh food items in a warm, inviting atmosphere. Starbucks prides itself on more than just serving coffee; it fosters a culture where customers can connect, feel welcome, and experience moments of joy through every cup. As a pioneer in the coffee industry, Starbucks continues to innovate and lead with values centered around ethical sourcing, environmental stewardship, and inclusivity.

The role of a Coffeehouse Leader at Starbucks is more than traditional management; it is a chance to be at the heart of this beloved brand’s community engagement. This leadership position is ideal for individuals passionate about coffee, customer service, and team development. As a coffeehouse leader, you will be responsible for guiding your team to create a warm and welcoming space where every guest feels cared for and valued. Your leadership extends beyond operations to fostering connections between team members and customers, making the coffeehouse a hub of positive social interaction.

Starbucks supports the growth and development of its partners (employees) through extensive training, coaching, and mentoring programs. The company values partners who bring entrepreneurial spirit, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and a dedication to excellence. In this role, you will learn to lead with heart and craft, influence your store’s culture, and help your team deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

This full-time role demands flexibility, including varied hours with early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Starbucks recognizes the importance of work-life balance and offers competitive compensation reflective of experience, skills, and geographic location. The company embraces diversity and inclusion, ensuring every partner is respected and empowered.

Starbucks Coffee Company invests deeply in its partners by providing a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid parental leave, vacation, paid holidays, and retirement benefits with employer match. Educational support such as the Starbucks College Achievement Plan offers 100% tuition coverage for a bachelor’s degree via Arizona State University’s online program, alongside financial well-being resources.

The Coffeehouse Leader will leverage their experience in retail or customer service management (minimum 3 years) or qualify through equivalent military service, bringing strong leadership, problem-solving, and entrepreneurial capabilities. Your role is to coach and mentor team partners professionally to meet sales goals and operational excellence standards.

Joining Starbucks as a Coffeehouse Leader means connecting with something bigger – an opportunity to grow personally, make a lasting impact in your community, and be part of an iconic brand committed to quality, people, and values. We welcome those who thrive in a sales-focused environment, have outstanding leadership skills, and are passionate about creating memorable coffee experiences to apply and join our team.
