Job Description

Playa Bowls is New Jersey's Original Acai Shop and has become a pioneer in the healthy food industry with its dedication to serving superfruit bowls made from the freshest, highest quality ingredients. Since its inception — which started humbly with just a couple of blenders, a patio table, and a fridge — Playa Bowls has expanded significantly to over 100 stores and employs thousands of people focused on leading their communities toward healthier, sustainable living. The company embraces a vibrant in-store brand experience that attracts customers who are passionate about superfoods, healthy eating, and fresh ingredients. Playa Bowls is widely known not only for its delicious and nutritious menu offerings but also for cultivating an environment where positive energy, community involvement, and innovation thrive.

The role of Store Manager at Playa Bowls is a dynamic, fast-paced position ideal for enthusiastic individuals who love interacting with people and have a genuine passion for healthy foods and superfruits. As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring that the standards of food quality and customer service are consistently met or exceeded. This role requires strong leadership capabilities, entrepreneurial thinking, and the ability to resolve challenges strategically. Responsibilities span from hiring and training employees, managing inventories, scheduling staff hours, to maintaining a welcoming store atmosphere that aligns with Playa Bowls’ brand values. Career growth opportunities abound, as the company encourages innovation and fosters an environment where team members can take ownership of their work and contribute to the company’s ongoing success.

The ideal candidate is a positive, motivated individual with previous managerial experience who excels in communication and problem-solving. Working at Playa Bowls is not just about managing a store; it’s about becoming part of a community that values fun, collaboration, and healthy lifestyle choices. Playa Bowls emphasizes teamwork and camaraderie, making it an enjoyable workplace where staff members can thrive, develop their skills, and advance their careers within the company. Compensation details are competitive and will be discussed during the interview process. Join Playa Bowls to lead a health-conscious business and make a meaningful impact both on the customers you serve and the communities you help promote wellness in.
