Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 to 2 years retail or equivalent experience preferred
  • Ability to supervise and train employees
  • Ability to use computer systems for reports and inventory
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Open availability including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to perform physical duties including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work approximately 50 hours per week
  • Food service certificate and food safety management certification may be required

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 to 2 years of retail work experience preferred
  • Ability to supervise and manage retail staff
  • Proficient in computer use including report completion and inventory control
  • Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to perform physical duties required by the role
  • Food service and safety certifications may be required

Job Duties

  • Directly supervises the activities of 2 or more full-time employees including assistant managers and customer service representatives
  • Recruits, hires, and trains employees to ensure excellent customer service
  • Manages store cleanliness, stock levels, and organization according to company standards
  • Develops and maintains positive relationships with suppliers and resolves customer complaints professionally
  • Conducts regular employee performance appraisals and training sessions on customer service and safety
  • Facilitates effective communication between all store employees and the district manager
  • Analyzes sales and financial data to maximize sales and net profits while safeguarding store assets
