The role of Store Manager at 7-Eleven is central to the success and vibrancy of each location. Store Managers act as the heart and soul of their stores, leading teams that consist of assistant managers and store associates. Job Requirements
- Ability to oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching
- Focus on employee retention and development
- Implement merchandising and marketing programs
- Use P&L and store reports to affect operational changes
- Manage cash handling, fuel transactions, and rewards program promotion
- Maintain clean, safe, and well-stocked environment
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not mandatory with retail management experience
- Valid driver’s license and automotive liability insurance
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required with at least one year of retail management experience
- Previous supervisory or management experience
- Proficient in computer knowledge, especially Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to multitask and perform physical tasks including bending, standing, and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Valid driver’s license and automotive liability insurance
- Excellent communication skills
Job Duties
- Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees
- Maintain high retention by identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging productivity
- Oversee and implement merchandising and marketing programs
- Use profit and loss (P&L) reports and store reports to affect change
- Manage cash handling, fuel transactions, and promotion of the rewards loyalty program
- Ensure store cleanliness and safety by complying with health and sanitation procedures
- Communicate effectively using excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills
