The position of Store Leader (Manager) Trainee at 7-Eleven offers a dynamic and rewarding career pathway for those eager to advance their leadership skills within a fast-paced retail environment. Job Requirements
- Ability to oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees
- Desire to maintain high retention through employee development and empowerment
- Ability to implement merchandising and marketing programs
- Demonstrated ability to use profit and loss and store reports for operational improvements
- Ability to manage cash handling, fuel transactions, and promote rewards loyalty program
- Maintain a clean, safe environment compliant with health and sanitation procedures
- Excellent oral and written communication and intrapersonal skills
- Proficient computer knowledge including Microsoft Word and Excel
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required if retail management experience is present
- Valid driver’s license and automotive liability insurance
- Ability to multi-task and perform physical tasks including bending, standing, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required with one year of retail management experience
- Previous supervisory or management experience preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient computer knowledge, preferably with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Valid driver’s license and automotive liability insurance
- Ability to multi-task and perform physical activities such as bending, standing, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds
Job Duties
- Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees
- Maintain high employee retention by identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging productivity
- Implement all merchandising and marketing programs
- Use profit and loss and store reports to make operational changes
- Manage cash handling, fuel transactions, and promote the rewards loyalty program
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by complying with health and sanitation procedures
- Ensure all products are well stocked and the store is presentable
