This opportunity is with HomeGoods Store 1058 located in Cherry Hill, NJ, where the role focuses on maintaining a clean and organized store environment, emphasizing floor care. As a key member of the store team, you will operate equipment such as scrubbers and buffers and perform dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot cleaning glass and windows to keep the sales floor and store areas pristine. The position demands adherence to operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards while being cross-trained to support multiple store departments including the backroom, front end, and sales floor.
You will be instrumental in modeling positive customer experience behaviors towards both internal and external customers, embodying a positive store culture centered on honesty, integrity, and respect. This role involves maintaining cleanliness standards in all store areas including lounges, restrooms, and recovery zones and ensuring compliance with all health and safety policies. Communicating effectively with management and peers, supporting store recovery activities, and upholding merchandising and signage standards are critical to success in this position.

Physical stamina is required to perform cleaning tasks efficiently, including potential lifting tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation. Job Duties
- Operate scrubber and buffer machines to maintain floor cleanliness
- dust mop, damp mop, sweep, vacuum, and dust all store areas including sales floor, backroom, restrooms, and lounges
- perform spot cleaning on glass and windows
- adhere to operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards
- cross-train and support multiple areas of the store including backroom, front end, and sales floor
- follow health and safety policies including refilling essential items
- communicate effectively with management and peers
- participate in store recovery and uphold merchandising and signage standards
- respond to front end coverage needs
- maintain a safe work environment according to company policies
