Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to operate floor care equipment such as scrubbers and buffers
- physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks
- flexible availability to support business needs
- strong communication skills
- ability to lift heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
- willingness to work in multiple areas of the store
- adherence to company policies and safety standards
- ability to follow labor laws including meal and break period policies
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- retail customer service experience preferred
- excellent customer service skills
- strong communication skills both verbal and written
- ability to work flexible schedules
- strong organizational and multitasking skills
- physical stamina for cleaning tasks and equipment operation
- ability to lift heavy objects with or without accommodation
- ability to work well with peers and supervisors
- attention to detail and ability to adapt to changing situations
Job Duties
- Operate scrubber and buffer machines to maintain floor cleanliness
- dust mop, damp mop, sweep, vacuum, and dust all store areas including sales floor, backroom, restrooms, and lounges
- perform spot cleaning on glass and windows
- adhere to operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards
- cross-train and support multiple areas of the store including backroom, front end, and sales floor
- follow health and safety policies including refilling essential items
- communicate effectively with management and peers
- participate in store recovery and uphold merchandising and signage standards
- respond to front end coverage needs
- maintain a safe work environment according to company policies
