Job Description

Our company is America's largest independent retailer specializing in wine, spirits, beer, and more, with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and community engagement. Operating across various locations, including Clearwater, we pride ourselves on providing a diverse and extensive product selection tailored to meet the needs of our customers. Our focus extends beyond retail to include robust online business operations, ensuring convenience and accessibility for all clientele. We emphasize a supportive work environment where employees can grow their careers through comprehensive training, competitive compensation, and a comprehensive Total Rewards program. This program encompasses health and wellness benefits, tuition assistance, and various employee discounts, fostering a workplace culture that values both professional development and personal well-being.

As a Stocking Associate/Merchandiser at our Clearwater store, you will be an integral part of our operational excellence. Referred to internally as a Merchandiser, you will collaborate closely with the store management team to maximize product inventory and contribute to an outstanding shopping experience. Your responsibilities will span both physical inventory management and digital business support, positioning you at the heart of our retail and online service integration.

In this role, you will engage in the essential task of processing freight, sorting and distributing merchandise, and maintaining well-organized displays and promotional signage. Beyond traditional merchandising, your support of digital operations via order fulfillment and assistance with in-store, curbside pickup, and delivery services highlights the multifaceted nature of this position. When assigned delivery duties, you will have the opportunity to interact with customers directly, ensuring timely and friendly service.

Your role is customer-centric as well, requiring you to greet and engage with customers, providing knowledgeable information about our product offerings—from wines and spirits to beers. Participating in ongoing training will deepen your expertise, keeping you abreast of current trends, advertisements, promotions, and customer loyalty programs. This continuous learning supports your ability to build rapport and sustainably grow customer relationships.

Maintaining high standards for safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance is critical across our store operations. As part of your duties, you will ensure adherence to all laws governing alcohol sales, contributing to a secure and compliant shopping environment. While merchandising forms the core of your role, you may also be called upon to support sales or front-end duties as necessary, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to the team’s success.

The position is active and physically demanding, requiring stamina and the ability to handle tasks such as lifting heavy items, climbing ladders, and working in various weather conditions when necessary. Our inclusive approach ensures reasonable accommodations for qualified candidates to succeed in this role.

This opportunity offers a competitive pay range from $14.05 to $19.66 per hour, varying by market, experience, and skills. We are proud to be an equal opportunity and drug-free employer, inviting individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to create meaningful customer experiences to join us in this rewarding career path.
