The role of Store Team Member, also known internally as Merchandiser, is essential in bringing the Total Wine & More brand to life by providing outstanding customer service and maintaining well-stocked and attractive product displays. This position can be either part-time or full-time, with duties primarily focused on merchandising but also including responsibilities across sales, front-end operations, and supporting online business functions. The Store Team Member maximizes product inventory by processing freight, organizing stock, building displays, and placing signage to enhance the shopping experience. Additionally, the role supports digital business by assisting in fulfilling online orders, managing in-store and curbside pick-up, and making deliveries when assigned.

Team members are expected to deliver personalized service by engaging customers, sharing product knowledge through ongoing wine, spirits, and beer training, and staying informed about current promotions and loyalty programs to drive sales. The position mandates strict adherence to all laws and regulations regarding the sale of alcohol, maintaining a safe, secure, and compliant environment at all times. Physical demands include the ability to walk, bend, lift heavy items such as cases and pallets, climb ladders, and endure exposure to various weather conditions during deliveries. Candidates must be at least 21 years old with prior retail experience preferred.
