The Dishwasher role at Stanly Ranch, Auberge Collection, is an essential position within the culinary team that ensures the kitchen maintains a spotless and organized environment conducive to exceptional food preparation. Dishwashers will be responsible for maintaining hygiene standards, using proper cleaning chemicals safely, handling kitchenware carefully to prevent damage, and adhering to all sanitation and safety regulations required by the resort. Additionally, this position involves setting up and replenishing work stations efficiently, maintaining order in storage and supply areas, communicating clearly with team members, and demonstrating a positive and collaborative attitude in the kitchen. The starting pay for this position is $18.50 per hour, with salary decisions also taking into account experience and education. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year of experience in a dishwashing or kitchen environment
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
- Capability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills
- Good communication skills in English
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job such as standing for extended periods

- A minimum of one year experience as a dishwasher
- Ability to read and write in English
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs
Job Duties
- Use correct cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces, according to OSHA regulations and hotel requirements
- Set up and organize a work station with designated supplies and equipment
- Report shortages to the supervisor and replenish supplies as needed throughout the shift
- Handle all wares carefully to prevent breakage and loss
- Clean and sanitize pots, pans, utensils, and other kitchen equipment in accordance with departmental standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of supply and storage closets
- Remove trash, wipe down shelves and counters
- Clean floors
- Remove items that do not belong and place them in the correct areas
- Report any damages, maintenance problems or safety hazards to the supervisor
- Adhere to all Health Department, sanitation, and safety regulations as required by the hotel
- Keep the kitchens clean and sanitary according to Stanly Ranch standards
- Use equipment with care and clean them properly after each use
- Use clear communication in the kitchen by announcing when walking behind someone or carrying something hot or dangerous
- Maintain a good work attitude and behavior with leaders and peers
- Be a good team player and work well with criticism
- Maintain chemicals in the dish machine and report if new products need to be ordered
