Job Description
Columbia Hospitality, Inc. is a renowned national management and consulting company with over 25 years of expertise in the hospitality industry. Specializing in creating unparalleled hospitality experiences, Columbia Hospitality manages a diverse portfolio that includes award-winning hotels and resorts, premier residential communities, restaurants and bars, private and public golf clubs, conference centers, and unique venues. The company prides itself on its values-driven culture emphasizing accountability, creativity, enthusiasm, honesty, inclusion, and respect. Recognized repeatedly as one of the Top Companies to Work for in Washington by Seattle Business Magazine and the Puget Sound Business Journal, Columbia Hospitality is committed to cultivating a dynamic, fun, and supportive environment for its employees.
Hotel Indigo, part of Columbia Hospitality's portfolio, is a boutique hotel offering 142 rooms and over 8,000 square feet of versatile event space. Situated at the heart of Port of Everett's redevelopment area known as Waterfront Place, the hotel enjoys a prime location surrounded by parks, restaurants, docks, and housing. Amenities include the Jetty Bar & Grille featuring a seafood menu inspired by the Pacific Northwest and an indoor swimming pool, catering to both leisure and business guests alike.
The Dishwasher (Seasonal) position at Hotel Indigo is a vital role within the kitchen team, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in all kitchenware, utensils, and related equipment. This role requires a proactive individual who can work efficiently under pressure while ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. The position offers an hourly pay rate of $20.77, with the added benefit of daily pay, allowing employees to make any day a payday. Seasonal employees are eligible for paid time off and holiday pay, recognizing the importance of balance between work and personal life.
Columbia Hospitality values an inclusive workplace and embraces candidates who may not meet every single qualification but show potential and enthusiasm for the role. Employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability insurance, and a 401K plan with employer contributions. Additional benefits include HSA/FSA plans, referral bonuses, discounted lodging, dining, spa, golf, and retail opportunities, as well as access to an employee assistance program and various volunteer and committee participation options. The company invests in its team members' growth through an online learning platform and offers third-party perks such as discounts on pet insurance, rental cars, entertainment tickets, and theme park admissions.
In this role, success is measured by your ability to wash and maintain all kitchen-related items from china to cooking utensils, sustain tidiness in the kitchen and cleaning supply areas, and properly manage waste disposal including trash, compost, and recycling. Candidates must possess a valid state food handler's license and demonstrate flexibility and resilience to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. This opportunity not only provides competitive pay and benefits but also a chance to join a community-focused, values-aligned team dedicated to creating exceptional experiences every day.
