Job Description

The role available is a full-time non-management position within the Food and Beverage and Culinary Department. This position plays a critical part in maintaining the cleanliness and operational efficiency of the resort’s kitchens and storage areas. As a team member responsible for sanitation and dishwashing, you will operate and maintain essential cleaning equipment including dishwashing machines, hand wash stations, pot scrubbing stations, and trash compactors. Your duties will include washing and disinfecting kitchen and store room areas, tools, knives, tables, and equipment, ensuring all items are hygienically maintained to meet the highest quality standards. Proper handling of deliveries, stock rotation, storage of perishables, and organization of clean wares are important components of this job.

You will utilize detergents and sanitizing chemicals in compliance with health and safety standards, cleaning dishes via a 3-compartment sink method, and inspecting all items for cleanliness before use. Management of waste through trash maintenance, cardboard breakdown for recycling, and maintaining general cleanliness across assigned departments are also vital responsibilities. The position requires physical stamina including the ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods, as well as the capability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. Effective communication and positive team collaboration are core expectations to uphold the company’s quality standards and customer service commitment.
