The kitchen team plays a critical role in maintaining the restaurant's esteemed standing, ensuring every dish meets the highest standards.

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Kitchen Supervisor to join the team. This is a full-time role ideal for someone with leadership qualities and culinary expertise. The Kitchen Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, training and directing line cooks, maintaining clean and organized workspaces, and ensuring timely and accurate preparation of menu items. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage priorities effectively under pressure. The ideal candidate will have a solid culinary background and prior supervisory experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The role demands a proactive approach to maintaining food safety standards and smooth workflow throughout shifts to deliver an outstanding dining experience for guests.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen setting
  • Experience leading or supervising kitchen staff
  • Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and food safety regulations
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary degree or certification preferred
  • Proven experience as a line cook or similar kitchen role
  • Experience in supervising or training kitchen staff
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Attention to detail in food preparation and presentation

Job Duties

  • Prepare all menu items following recipes and yield guides
  • Direct, train, and monitor performance of Line Cooks
  • Maintain organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of work areas and equipment
  • Prepare and assign production and prep work for Line Cooks to complete
  • Review priorities and communicate additions or changes to assignments as they arise
  • Set up work station with required mis en place, tools, equipment and supplies
  • Breakdown work stations and complete closing duties at the end of last shift of the day
  • Inform the Sous Chef of any supplies that need to be requisitioned
