We are currently seeking a dedicated Coffee Specialist to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our service standards are not only met but consistently surpassed. The ideal candidate will be responsible for offering prompt and quality coffee selections to customers, handling purchases efficiently, and preparing beverages to the highest specifications. In addition, the Coffee Specialist will monitor the overall conditions of the department to uphold cleanliness, organization, and service readiness at all times. Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in coffee preparation or customer service
Ability to stand for extended periods
Excellent communication skills
Attention to detail
Ability to follow safety protocols
Flexible availability including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

Prior experience in coffee preparation or customer service
Knowledge of various coffee brewing techniques and equipment
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Basic understanding of health and safety standards
Ability to work collaboratively within a team

Job Duties

Ensure service standards are met and surpassed by providing customers with prompt, quality coffee selection, purchase and preparation
Monitor total department conditions and follow through to maintain standards
Demonstrate the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee preparation area
Engage positively with customers to enhance their coffee experience
Train new staff on coffee preparation and service protocols
Manage inventory to ensure availability of coffee supplies
