As a Barista at Universal CityWalk, your role is central to delivering top-tier guest experiences in a high-energy setting. You will be responsible for taking and preparing food and beverage orders with accuracy, operating cash registers efficiently, and maintaining a clean and well-stocked service area. Job Requirements

Must be 18 years or older
able to operate a cash register
able to provide excellent customer service
able to maintain cleanliness and sanitation
able to follow safety policies
able to handle cash transactions accurately
able to work in a fast-paced environment
able to collaborate with team members
prior barista experience preferred

Job Duties

Verify cash balance at the beginning and end of shift
operate cash register and accept cash and credit cards
advise lead cashier on need for cash mid-days and complete change requests
set up the venue, stock, clean, organize and maintain a clean sanitized food service area
process guests’ food and beverage orders and up sell products
follow all food proper portioning procedures to maintain cost
promote and provide extraordinary guest service
answer questions, offer information, and provide assistance in a courteous manner
understand and demonstrate the proper use of safety practices
ensure department standards and safety policies are maintained
balance cash drawers with accuracy and integrity
provide excellent customer service by assisting guests with inquiries and resolving complaints
collaborate with team members and management to ensure efficient and secure cash-handling
monitor and maintain a safe and secure environment
identify, de-escalate, and resolve conflicts professionally
provide a positive and welcoming experience while maintaining composure
maintain a high level of trust and integrity
perform other duties as assigned
