The role of Starbucks Barista at Cook Children's Medical Center involves delivering exceptional customer service by creating the celebrated Starbucks Experience for all customers. This part-time or full-time position entails preparing and serving high-quality beverages and products while maintaining a clean and inviting store environment within the coffee kiosk located inside the medical center. The Barista is responsible for processing transactions efficiently and accurately, managing the cash drawer with care, and setting up equipment to ensure smooth operations during service hours. Working varying shifts that include mornings and nights, the Barista plays a vital role in enhancing the overall experience for visitors, patients, and staff by providing friendly, prompt service in a fast-paced setting. This position requires maintaining excellent communication and interpersonal skills to ensure customer satisfaction. Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
One year of customer service experience
Starbucks Barista experience preferred
City of Fort Worth Food Handler's Card
Ability to work varying shifts including mornings and nights
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to process transactions and maintain cash drawer accurately

Job Duties

Prepare and serve Starbucks beverages and products according to company standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee kiosk and equipment
Process customer transactions accurately through the cash register
Manage daily cash drawer by balancing receipts and cash
Set up the service area, including equipment and supplies, before opening
Provide excellent customer service to ensure optimal customer satisfaction
Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including obtaining and maintaining the City of Fort Worth Food Handler's Card
