The company is known for its commitment to innovation, professionalism, and creating a safe environment for its clients. GardaWorld Security emphasizes career growth opportunities and is proud to be the only guarding security company in the United States certified by Great Place to Work. This recognition reflects the company’s inclusive culture, dedication to employee development, and leadership in the security service industry.

GardaWorld is currently hiring for a part-time Surveillance Security Officer position with a competitive hourly wage of $19.00 to $18.50, along with a comprehensive benefits package. The role is scheduled primarily on weekends and some evenings with shifts from 7am to 7pm on Saturdays and Sundays, and 3pm to 11pm on Thursdays and Fridays. Employees enjoy the convenience of a set schedule, uniform provided at no cost, and access to DailyPay for flexible financial management.

The Surveillance Security Officer is a critical member of the security operations center team, responsible for monitoring security systems to identify and respond to any suspicious or potentially harmful activities before they escalate. This role requires a person with keen observational skills, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to maintain focus over extended periods while scanning multiple screens. Key environments for this position include security operations centers, call centers, and parking gatehouses.

Responsibilities include evaluating security footage to detect incidents, documenting events with detailed report writing, conducting regular patrols, controlling access to restricted areas, and collaborating with law enforcement when serious situations arise. The officer must also be comfortable analyzing security system vulnerabilities and malfunctions to prevent security breaches. Effective communication and the ability to remain calm and responsive in high-pressure scenarios are vital for job success.

GardaWorld Security Services offers a forward-thinking work atmosphere where employees can grow their careers, with some corporate leaders having begun as frontline security workers. Alongside medical, dental, and vision insurance, employees receive 401(k) retirement savings plan benefits with employer match, paid time off including holidays, disability coverage, and life insurance options. GardaWorld is committed to diversity and equal opportunity employment, supporting a welcoming culture without discrimination based on race, color, religion, or other protected categories.

This is more than just a job; it is an opportunity to be part of a respected global security organization dedicated to protecting people and property. GardaWorld invites those with relevant skills, such as military or law enforcement experience, and strong technological proficiency, to apply and embark on a promising career path as a Surveillance Security Officer.
