The role of Senior Nutritionist at Nestle Purina offers an exciting opportunity to be a key contributor within their Research and Product Development team. This team is composed of over 500 dedicated scientists, including nutritionists, chemists, immunologists, microbiologists, and veterinarians, all working together to pioneer innovations in companion animal nutrition. As a Senior Nutritionist, you will translate complex nutrition science into practical products that improve pet wellness and meet the highest standards of safety and sustainability. This position involves leading research projects, providing technical expertise, and collaborating cross-functionally to develop new technologies that push the boundaries of pet care.

In this role, you will initiate and lead scientific studies that align with Nestle Purina’s strategic focus on pet health through nutrition. Acting as a project team leader, you will manage timelines, ensure documentation compliance, and guide project execution with a strong focus on quality and scientific rigor. You will also serve as a key team member on various projects, offering nutritional insights and contributing to hypothesis formulation, experimental design, and the communication of results through presentations and published reports. Your expertise will support product innovation driven by veterinary and consumer insights, keeping you at the forefront of the latest nutrition literature and intellectual property developments.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $82,000 to $116,000, reflecting the candidate’s knowledge, skills, and geographic location.
