Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in quick-service restaurant, retail or food service industry involving field operations, training and execution excellence
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and resources
  • Proven leadership in large-scale transformation and operational initiatives
  • Deep understanding of franchising, field operations, frontline team dynamics and customer service
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across all organizational levels
  • Strategic thinking combined with precise communication skills
  • Strong written, visual and oral communication proficiency
  • Creative and innovative problem solver
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and project management abilities

Job Duties

  • Act as a primary conduit between Culinary Innovation and Operations stakeholders ensuring alignment with field testing for new products and initiatives
  • Develop and lead testing protocols for new menu items, smallwares, and kitchen equipment focusing on functionality and ease of execution
  • Translate culinary concepts into practical in-store processes emphasizing simplicity, speed, and consistency
  • Identify operational pain points during product development and deliver scalable solutions
  • Package and transfer validated execution plans, tools, and protocols to the Testing Implementation Team prior to market tests
  • Support evaluation and selection of kitchen tools and technology to enhance operational efficiency and product integrity
  • Champion speed oven programming integration leveraging data and testing insights
  • Simulate real-world production environments to optimize workflows and provide operational recommendations
  • Drive continuous improvement by assessing processes and collaborating with Field Execution teams
  • Provide post-launch performance analysis and identify optimization opportunities
  • Monitor key operational KPIs such as throughput, execution time, and waste
  • Establish strong feedback loops with restaurant operators, leaders, and training teams
  • Lead and test initiatives to innovate restaurant operations ensuring alignment with guest needs and growth strategies
  • Identify and implement process enhancements to improve franchisee and system profitability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders including Technology, Learning, Culinary, QA, and Supply Chain
  • Maintain vendor relationships supporting equipment trials and deployments
  • Partner with QA, Training, and Equipment teams ensuring readiness for testing and rollouts
  • Develop scalable training content with Training and Communications teams
  • Focus on simplifying operations and reducing complexity
  • Enhance restaurant productivity and team experience
  • Focus on continuously reducing cost of goods and labor to boost franchisee profitability
  • Maintain and update the Global and NAM regional Operations Manual ensuring brand standards consistency
  • Guide the development of high-quality operational materials and branding
  • Influence and engage key stakeholders and franchisee advisory councils
  • Travel as required to support field execution and stakeholder engagement
