The position of Senior Executive Chef at Morrison Healthcare is an exciting opportunity based in Gainesville, Florida. This leadership role commands oversight of all culinary operations within a major healthcare facility, ensuring that every meal served supports patient health and satisfaction while maintaining the hospital’s operational and financial goals. The Senior Executive Chef will be responsible for directing all food service operations, including patient dining, retail food services, and catering, aligning culinary strategies with wellness initiatives, sustainability goals, and seasonal menu innovations. With a salary range of $100,000 to $125,000 and relocation assistance provided, the role requires a five-day work week with alternating weekends to balance operational needs and team leadership. This is a pivotal role for driving culinary excellence and innovation in a healthcare environment, where food safety, quality, and guest experience are paramount.

In this role, the Senior Executive Chef leads a dynamic culinary team, focusing on recruitment, training, mentoring, and staff development to ensure a high level of performance and professional growth. Collaboration with hospital leadership is essential to meet operational standards, streamline purchasing and inventory processes, and implement cost control strategies. The Senior Executive Chef will also track important performance metrics and continuously seek improvements to enhance food quality, presentation, and overall service delivery. The executive will ensure total compliance with ServSafe® sanitation and safety protocols, reflecting the company’s commitment to food safety and regulatory adherence.
