The Sr. Administrative Associate role is a key position within Penn Mutual's field office teams, located in either Kansas City, MO or Dallas, TX. This is a hybrid position requiring on-site attendance three days a week, aligning with the company’s flexible work approach which allows employees to balance their career and personal lives effectively. The role contributes significantly to the efficiency of sales and marketing operations by supporting field managers and financial professionals. The associate performs a variety of administrative duties, handling everything from processing new business applications to maintaining communication with underwriting and securities departments. This position demands a strong knowledge base of insurance and securities products as well as company policies and procedures.
Responsible for processing all new business applications accurately and efficiently, the Sr. Administrative Associate reviews forms, ensures timely electronic submission, orders necessary requirements, and follows up on pending cases until their completion. They provide proactive updates and reports to financial professionals and field managers regarding pre-issue and post-issue requirements through multiple communication channels. This role also requires building collaborative relationships with internal departments such as Home Office, Underwriting, HTK, and third-party administrators to resolve underwriting and securities issues effectively.
In addition to administrative tasks, the associate may be responsible for preparing basic product illustrations and serving as a dependable point of contact for financial professionals and policyholders by delivering excellent and timely service. The position thrives on strong organizational skills, prioritization abilities, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook. Clear communication skills and a team-oriented mindset are essential to succeed in this role.
Candidates for this position need a high school diploma or equivalent, with 3-5 years of experience in insurance, securities, or related fields. Preferred candidates will possess FINRA Series 6 or Series 7 licenses. The salary range for this role is competitive, ranging between $60,000 and $70,000 per year, reflecting the responsibilities and expertise required.

Job Duties
- Process all new business including review of applications and forms for accuracy
- electronically submit applications
- order requirements and follow up on pending cases until completion
