This hourly position typically involves working over 35 hours per week, primarily during a Monday through Friday schedule, with occasional weekend duties as needed to maintain landscape health and client satisfaction. The role emphasizes precise identification of landscape issues including insects, fungal damage, and weeds, followed by the accurate mixing and calibrated application of chemicals to address these needs. Attention to detail in logging daily chemical applications is required to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Physically demanding tasks are a significant aspect of this role, requiring the technician to perform activities such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and digging often for extended periods and under varying weather conditions. Equipment operation skills are also vital, as the Spray Technician must safely handle vehicles and mechanized equipment including trucks, trailers, power equipment, lawn mowers, bobcats, ATVs, golf carts, and mobile sprayers.
