Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years or older
  • High school diploma or education equivalent preferred
  • Food service or Culinary Arts degree preferred
  • 3 years related culinary work
  • Demonstrates commitment to guest service excellence and ethical conduct
  • Valid Gaming License required
  • Food Handler certification required
  • ServSafe certification required

Job Duties

  • Prepares all menu items quickly, efficiently, and consistently
  • Prepares plates and baskets according to established proper presentation standards
  • Organizes, rotates, and stocks hot lines properly
  • Meets guests needs through timely and proper handling of all equipment and chemicals
  • Ensures the restaurant is properly supplied with freshly prepared food
  • Complies with all department and company rules, regulations, policies, procedures and internal controls and government rules and regulations
  • Works in a safe manner at all times
  • Assists in other kitchens of the Casino as necessary
  • Maintains the work area clean and organized. Deep cleans the area at the end of shifts
  • Follows the proper closing procedure with cleaning and labeling
  • Attends periodic meetings and training sessions
  • Promotes positive public and employee relations
  • Presents oneself in a neat and clean appearance at all times
  • Performs other duties as assigned
