As a Bartender at Gaylord Pacific Resort & Convention Center, you will play a crucial role in enhancing guest satisfaction by preparing and serving a variety of drink orders according to specific recipes, ensuring consistency and quality in every beverage served. The role requires precision in measurement and attention to detail when opening and serving wine and champagne bottles. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bar, bar units, tables, and other essential tools, which is fundamental to providing a safe and welcoming atmosphere.
Your duties will also include preparing fresh garnishes for drinks, stocking ice, glassware, and paper supplies, and efficiently managing the transportation of supplies to the bar set-up area. Ensuring that soiled glassware is promptly washed and all used wares are cleared from the bar and tables will be part of your daily responsibilities. A significant aspect of the role is anticipating replenishment needs and communicating these promptly to maintain uninterrupted service flow.
Handling all payment transactions accurately is critical, as you will need to count the cash bank at the end of your shift, complete cashier reports, resolve discrepancies, and secure all income appropriately. Securing alcoholic beverages and storage areas, performing closing duties systematically, and adhering to all company safety and security policies will also be essential.

- Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience
- No prior supervisory experience required
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for long periods
