The Special Events Project Planner role at United Site Services involves overseeing all aspects of planning and coordinating special event jobs within a designated region. This multifaceted position requires managing the project lifecycle from initial planning stages through to successful completion, incorporating all of USS’s product lines such as fencing, sanitation solutions, and temporary power deployments. The planner serves as the key liaison between clients, internal teams, and vendors, ensuring every project adheres to timelines, budgets, and predefined specifications. Responsibilities extend to meeting with clients and regional management to align project goals, coordinating resources efficiently, and actively tracking project progress against milestones and budgetary constraints. This role demands strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and exceptional communication abilities to build collaborative relationships and resolve issues proactively. Additional duties include managing material logistics and delivery schedules, preparing detailed reports for management, and performing other tasks necessary to achieve overall project success.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range from $66,700 to $96,700 annually and includes a comprehensive benefits package. Job Duties

  • Manage special event project lifecycle from initial planning phases through completion
  • Meet with clients regional management and local teams to establish project plans budgets and schedules
  • Coordinate project resources and track progress against timelines and schedules
  • Ensure work is completed on time within budget and to specification
  • Act as liaison between clients and project team members regarding changes or problems
  • Coordinate work of vendors or sub-contractors
  • Manage material logistics and delivery scheduling for assigned projects
  • Track progress against milestones budgetary guidelines or performance indicators
  • Prepare and deliver reports to management
  • Perform other duties as assigned
