Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in events management or related field
- proven experience in a high volume events environment
- restaurant or hospitality industry experience preferred
- proficiency with event management software
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- eligibility to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Have 3+ years of experience in a high volume events environment
- restaurant or similar experience preferred
- strong oral and written communication skills
- catering/event software experience
- able to work flexible, sometimes long hours
- excellent customer service
Job Duties
- Manage all incoming leads via Open Table, telephone, email and other channels
- assist with managing event software
- close deals and assist guests from start to finish with all event planning needs
- manage annual sales goals for selected restaurants by booking group events
- seek out new sales opportunities and partnerships, initiating action plans and attending networking events to procure new business
- build guest loyalty and book repeat business
- communicate with the service team all event details
- partner with General Manager and Executive Chef to ensure flawless event execution
- book small to large events and prioritize tasks efficiently
- work on-site to build a solid team atmosphere
